PeakLogix Inc., a material handling systems integrator, has been acquired by Alta Equipment Group Inc. (NYSE: ALTG), an industrial and construction equipment company based in Livonia, Michigan. Together, the companies will provide innovative, high technology products and service solutions to customers within the material handling industry.
Since 1984, Alta has operated as an equipment dealership and has developed a branch network that includes 43 total locations across Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, New England, New York, and Florida. The acquisition of PeakLogix allows Alta to establish itself as an integrator within the material handling industry while it provides the resources for PeakLogix to expand its geographic footprint beyond the Mid-Atlantic region.
