Bucket Brigade Order Picking is a method of organizing the workers in a Pick Zone so that the workload becomes Self-Balancing.
In a traditional pick method, the operator has to jump over or move around another picker in order to complete the order. The Bucket Brigade method allows the operators to pass the orders to eliminate jumping over the operator in front of them. Here’s an illustrated example:
