PeakLogix was selected to present at the recent Innovation in Manufacturing Conference held April 22-23 in Roanoke, Virginia.

The two-day event brought together industry leaders, researchers, students and professionals to exchange ideas around innovative practices and approaches to meet the needs of the manufacturing industry.  The conference included speakers regarding a variety of topics that included: innovative strategies related to manufacturing processes, product design and deployment,  reshoring, automation and value chain.

Mr. Bob Giberson, Principal of PeakLogix conducted a presentation identifying opportunities to leverage automation to increase productivity, particularly through the use of robotics.

The Innovation in Manufacturing Conference was developed through a partnership between Genedge Alliance, the Virginia Manufacturing Advisory Council, and the Virginia Tech Office of Economic Development, as a component of the Transportation Equipment Manufacturers Competitiveness Initiative, a project funded by the US Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration.
