PROJECT MANAGEMENT + IMPLEMENTATION
ADDITIONAL WAREHOUSE STORAGE
Lillian Vernon wanted to maximize the square footage available in its existing distribution center, to be completed before the start of the upcoming holiday shopping season and without any downtime in existing areas.
PeakLogix was able to coordinate the building of 85 column footers, installation of a new 24,000 square feet mezzanine, and pouring of a concrete deck, all while the facility remained in operation.
The client saw a 15% increase in facility capacity. With the additional space provided by the new mezzanine, more product lines can be accessed during the picking process, increasing efficiency for the operation. It also allows room for additional embroidering machines as the client’s sales continue to rise.
