Increased pick rates and efficiency of manufacturer of women’s lingerie and underwear.

The project

Wacoal, a women’s lingerie and underwear manufacturer, needed storage and retrieval processes designed and integrated for a new product line. To accommodate the additional inventory, our client also needed to increase their available storage without altering the footprint of their existing distribution center.

The solution

PeakLogix upgraded Wacoal’s Warehouse Management System with ScottTech PickPro®. This enabled the implementation of an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS) that delivers totes to operators for high-throughput order fulfillment. In addition, horizontal carousels maximize the use of cubic space and provide high throughput.
